Mom find out about ED?!

Question: i'm a struggling anorexic/bulimic and i'm scared that my mom's gonna find out
i'm 15, and have mainly been anorexic the past two years
however, i threw up five times last month over the course of two weeks and binge eat occasionally as well
well, my mom found all of my food i had stashed (that i had already eaten, not food i didn't eat) and confronted me about it, but she reacted badly
she's a pediatriction so she knows about eating disorders and everything, and when she confronted me, she seemed like she thought i had either bulimia (she asked me if i had thrown up before, which i denied) or binge eating disorder
i just told her i had an issue this past summer but it's all taken care of
but she scheduled an appointment with a new pediatriction in two weeks, even though i had a check up 4 months ago
i'm scared about the doctor asking me questions about eating disorders because i don't like lying to doctors, would she tell my mom my answers?

Look, despite whatever you may think about your mother finding out, you need to treat this eating disorder. It will consume your life and your soul, and will eventually kill you, if you do not.

Please, please, seek treatment. I know you probably have a terrible relationship with your parents, and that is most likely a major cause of the disorder itself. But in the long run, this doesn't matter. What matters is your health - both pyhsical and mental.

Treating this at 15 will be much better than waiting until you are older. Trust me.

It isn't easy to stop. I will not lie. It stays with your forever. But you feel better every day. And you get stronger every day. You'll be able to look in the mirror again, and god forbid, step on a scale. There will even come a time when you feel comfortable having chocolate in the house! Or eating chips.

Please get help.

that is complicated because eating disorders are serious. you should just tell the truth and get help. I've had friends with eating disorders and if they go to far you will never be the seme health-wise

She cannot tell your mom but you are going to kill yourself because you're not eating. You have probably already damaged your body enough to last a lifetime. Get some psychiatric help please. Your not going to make it to 20 if you keep this up. Such a waste...

i think she has to because your under 18
please dont lie
you need help
i will pray for you
get better and i hope you get better

dont lie, my cousin almost died from bulimia. you need to tell your doctor the truth, especially if you dont feel like confronting her.

Oh my Gosh! You HAVE to ask for help! This is so dangerous, dont do it to yourself! Trust me, youre making a made mistake Please tell your mother. I guarantee you its the best thing to do. She'll find you help. You dont want to live your life having big problem right? Youll get help, maybe a group of people with the same disorded and you will talk. The book Perfect is a very good book about a 13 year old girl who doesnt tell anyone, and stashes food in her room and throws up and her mom finds out. Please, im begging you to tell someone. Besst of luckk

EDIT:

I believe the doctor will tell your mom.
If you cant talk to your parents start out with the school counselor. Please! <3

SInce you are not an adult the dr. would dicuss your condidtion with your Mom and should. I think that you should get help with your eating disorder before it gets so out of control that you can't get a handle on it. Try to be happy with what you look like instead of wishing that you looked like someone else . Believe me I know about this. Try not to be hard on mom she is just worried about you and she wants what is best. good luck

FIRST OF ALL tell a trusted teacher, councelor, or other trusted adult about your dads abuse to u! then go to the doctor and tell the truth about ur eating disorder. good luck with ur ed and ur family i will keep u in my prayers and tell some of my close friends to pray too. i wish u the best of luck and remember to keep hope.

you need to get help, even if you don't think you're eating disorder isn't serious enough to need help.
you'll be much happier when you get help, and though it may be awkward and hard at first for your mom or dad or both to find out, in time you'll all be comfortable with it and when you get treated you'll have a much better quality of life.

dont lie to the doctor and don't lie to your mom anymore.
let yourself get the help you need

and good luck!
