I would think that going to the ob-gyn would be way worse. We have to be completely exposed and prodded while they shine a bright light down there with their face a few inches away! Damn, I hate going!
How would you like having a metal instrument shoved up your a--? I'd equate a pap to that if I were a guy.

Gyn is so way worse. It takes so much longer, and the dr. is actually down there, with a freakin' light, and cold metal instruments.
I think I'd rather cough once or twice and call it a day any time!
The stuff that goes on in the cough test (finger up butt) goes on at gyn exams, in addition to the other elements of the gyn exam--cold speculum, pap test, poking and prodding. So gyn exam is definitely worse. And if you'd rather be spread eagled, then be my guest--they can do the cough test that way, too. And that will still be less invasive, and take less time, than a gyn exam.
Definatly a Gyn exam! Cold, metal tools INSIDE you & most of the doctors are men.
