Well, there are a number of things to check. How were you diagnosed with early menopause--via an FSH test? If your FSH was high then, then get it checked again now and see if there's any change.

Did you lose weight on Alli? --I'm guessing not, since you didn't mention it, but as you likely know, losing weight can shake up your hormones. But that wouldn't be expected to affect early menopause (i.e. premature ovarian failure, or POF).

If you genuinely have POF, and weren't misdiagnosed, then having a period after 5 years of no period is still the sort of thing that can happen with POF. Having POF is not like being in natural menopause, but just at a younger age. It's its own phenomenon, with unique traits. One is that the ovaries can work intermittently, or sporadically, for reasons no one is really sure of, unlike normal menopause, when there's kind of a more predictable curve of ovarian activity dying out.

Are you taking hormones, like estrogen and progesterone?

Since you are taking Alli, I am assuming that you are overweight (only severely overweight people should be taking Alli). So before you started Alli, your body may have stopped your periods due to your weight. Once you were taking Alli, you most likely lost some weight and maybe that is what jump started your body to start your period again.
