Not quite sure, but doesnt it just like crumble away?
The bit on the baby shrivels up and drops off leaving you belly button. the bit on the placenta is thrown away
its part of the placenta, which is expelled from the woman's body soon after the baby is born.
Sometimes they save the placenta and use it in beauty products for ur face. No joke, its called placenta fluid and supposedly its has a lot of nutrients in it.
it like crubles and goes away
The part left on the baby withers and falls off. The part from the mom is delivered like the baby was and thrown away.
peace
There is a thing called the "after birth" which is the lining of the womb to which the umbilical cord is attached to the placenta. The body sheds it through the vagina soon after the birth (hence the name). This is the third stage of labor, the first being the contractions, second being the pushing and birth.
Some women have to push it out, but for my four births I hardly noticed its passing.
This is a larger version of the lining that gets shed each month if you don't get pregnant - your periods.
The end of the umbilical cord that is still attached to the placenta inside the mother is delivered with the placenta within a few minutes of the birth. Unless requested by the patient, it goes to the anatomical pathology department of the laboratory for macroscopic examination to ensure it was expelled in its entirity. It is checked in this way as any bits of it left in the womb can cause a serious infection post partum.
O.k. here is the run down after the baby is born and they apply the unbilical cord clamps and they cut the cord between the two the rest is expelled with the placenta . Also commonly known as the after birth and that part is the part that the Doctor will examin to make sure there is no tissue from the linening of your uterus to make sure there is a less chance of the woman having internal bleeding that could cause problems with her recovery. So basically the part that is out of the mom will all come out with the rest of the Placenta and it will be discarded.
