The only thing better than douching is not douching at all. Douching causes more trouble than it prevents.
Wash yourself with unscented soap and rinse well, then pat dry.
So called feminine hygine products are simply a way to make women feel insecure about their bodies natural scents. Adding perfumed products there can cause irritation and can mask early signs of problems by hiding the bad smells that alert you to something being wrong. The vagina is a self cleaning organ and will take care of itself as long as you wash and dry. Old urine or vaginal secretions will smell bad so it's a good idea to wash every time you use the toilet, after all you wash your hands every time.

Vinegar and boiled pure water for a once in a while douche (after period ends) should be ok. You get into real trouble doing it too much and with stuff that is store bought.

Wash instead of wipe. Or sometimes in the shower, just insert a finger or two with liquid soap and just rinse good as far as you can go and make sure to discharge properly before exiting. Then I blow dry down there too. Thats my routine and I stay pretty clean and fresh.

a good old can of coke a funnel and a handstand is all you need for daily freshness

Washing and using the special powders that are pH balanced to prevent yeast infections (can be found in the feminine care section) example Summer's Eve
