As long as you use a board certified/trained/properly licensed cosmetic surgeon, I don;t know that the risks would be higher for certain ethnicities over another. The real problem would probably be if you had a reaction to the anesthesia or a post-op infection, which the risks vary from individual to individual.

Yes, of course. As for scarring, I believe it can look darker and more thickened but will still fade with time and can always be treated with a laser procedure at a later date if necessary.
