My period...(Read more)?!
Question: Lasts about 7-10 days....very heavy but regular with little or no cramps. It does stop some times for example last month: 5 days, stops for around 18 hours then starts back up for 4 more days....is that okay...that it stops then starts again?

7-10 days is longer than average, but probably normal for you. It is fine to stop during the period. For example, I almost always skip day 3. Every body is different. Don't worry about your period unless it become painful or irregular.
My period often goes away for half a day then comes back too.
And I used to have a really heavy flow too! I was put on high hormone birth control and it helped to shorten them, and make them more regular! If your not on the pill i recommend talking to your doctor abotu it! It may help.
But consider yourself a VERY lucky girl to have light cramps! I'm terribly jealous!
That's very odd.Have you taken any birth control pills? Usually this may have caused some irregular periods? Any family history of ovary cyst? Stress usually is one of the main factor of irregular periods. But I think you're better of seeing your gyno and have a pap smear test. Explain it to him/her about your period. Periods usually last 3-7 days, but it should not stop then continue again.
