Do NOT have a pelvic examination! You are NOT 18 and NOT sexually active. It is NOT medically recommended that ANY girl undergo a pelvic examination. Your hymen can and WILL rip apart with an examination, and it will be highly and extremely painful. I recommend that you talk to your mother about the birth control called Yaz. Tell her that you are not sexually active and are not using the birth control pills as an excuse to be. Yaz also has other benefits: no cramps, no bloating, clears up your face of acne, no heavy bleeding, no anemia risk, no mood swings, no appetite mess-ups, no blood clots. Since you only recently started your period last year, then it's very normal for it to go haywire for the first few years. Your body just needs to regulate itself, but since you're having severe cramps and heavy bleeding, you should try Yaz. Heavy bleeding leads to loss of iron, and therefore the risk for anemia is higher. Even iron pills take time to rebuild up your red blood cells. That's playing with fire. Severe cramps interfere with school, studying, appetite, social life, and your grades. I had exactly the same thing, and I couldn't get out of bed without being wracked with pain. Even tampons couldn't last two hours without getting saturated. Birth control pills pretty much saved my sanity amongst a lot of other things!

It can be normal but try not to drink any caffine or eat chocolate about two weeks before you are going to start. Also, have you seen a doctor since you started? It's a good idea to get a pelvic exam now that your a woman. Try not to worry.

If it was worst, go see the doctor!

Hello, i am a doctor, add imsobatty@hotmail.co.uk and show me how you have your period on webcam..

Good luck
