Period problems? gyno help?!
Question: Well i got my period when i was 9 years old and i am 14 years old now. Well i had it every 28 days from 9-14 years old until sept. i haven't gotten it since sept. i am very concerned. I am sexually active and i used protectionn almost everytime accept for with 2 people out of 8 people. I know i am def. not pregnant i took 3 pregnancy test and all came up negative. My mom does not know that i have not had my period in 2 months but she knows i am sexually active which is why i am going to go to the gyno on jan. 2nd to get checked out and possibly get BC pills. Any ideas why i haven't gotten my period? Also this is going to be my first time at the gyno. so what are they going to do to me? what questions are they going to ask?
I know all about sex,diseases and stuff like that so NO NEED to tell me about it because i know.
NO NEED to tell me not to have sex, i've been there and heard it all. NO lectures please just give me your opinion about why i'm not having my period.

It is still possible to be pregnant, it could be you are NEWLY pregnant, and too soon to show on a test.. that could be why..
When you go to the gyno, they are going to ask about you being sexually active again explain the concerns over someone your age being active, and warn you of hazards of unprotected sex against STD's and unplanned pregnancy. I don't remember if they do a pap smear at such an early age, however they may since you are sexually active.. that will be where.. no other way to say it, you lay on the table they look up into you and take a swab sample for testing to make sure all is normal.
I'm sorry.. but 14 with 8 partners already? .. honey .. slow down.. be careful.. yes you may know, but it seems you didn't listen if you had 2 partners without protection.... do you know how bad later in life your body can be damaged by having sex so early?

i'm sorry but wow. 14 and you've slept with 8 people. and your mother knows? your still alive? i'm impressed i would have smacked you all the way back to the womb for that. Hey if you do the deed be ready for what comes. I beleive in God and maybe you should too, cuz he is the only thing that is gonna stop you from actually being pregnant, or getting a terrible disease that is going to kill you before long. apparently you haven't heard it all, cuz if you had, you wouldn't be having sex at such a young "baby" age. I will pray for you to make some good decisions and i hope you get what you deserve.
wow!!! ur 14 and sexually active!! dang! ne wayz not getting ur period id very very normal. im 14 to and dat happens to me also. one of my friends skipped hu period for a whole year once. nothing was wrong her body just didnt make her have a period. hope i helped good luck
Have you recently been exercising a lot or had a change in eating habits? Sometimes when I go on a strict diet and exercise program, my period skips out for a couple of months like that. When you go to the gyno they will check out all the normal stuff and run real pregnancy test on you.... so you will then know really for sure you are not pregnant. Be sure to bring up this recent irregularity, B.C. should help with that problem too . Good luck, the first time is always the scariest!
