Nuva ring question?!

Question: I just started the Nuva ring today and i even used a tampon applicator to slide it in, but when i put my finger in to see if i could feel it, i could feel it right up against the back of my vaginal wall. I can't feel it inside me, but i can feel it right away with my finger. Is this normal??? It won't go in ANY further, I've tried!!

If you don't feel it inside you then it's in properly... Don't worry about it, the first time i put mine in, I was checking it every half hour... You get used to it...

If it won't go in any further, don't worry... as long as you don't feel it, it'll work from where it is.

that means that it is in where it belongs. I suggest that when you want to take it out/put it in, you squat, that will help you to reach it easier because that position shortens the vaginal canal. That is what my dr told me and it has worked for me.

I used the ring for over a year, and that is as far as it would go for me also. You will definately feel it if it starts working its way down. For me, it was like a pinching pain at the vaginal opening, and once I pushed it back, there was no pain.

What the hell is a nuva ring??
