Answers:
Stress and tiredness usually cause it. As prevously said, use a warm face cloth over your eyes and relax for a few minutes. It should help.

"Causes include local eye irritation such as dry eye and blepharitis, and artificial tears may help. Fatigue, stress, and lack of sleep are other known causes. Stimulants such as caffeine and decongestants may also lead to twitching. Rarely, pulsation of an artery on a nerve controlling the muscle causes twitching."

You actually have a tic. A tick is a parasite and having one on your eyelid would be just plain gross. Reducing stress and caffeine might help. In some cases Botox injections are required

The first 2 answers didn't solve your question. This might. Simply what you are having is muscle spasms. Put a warm/hot compress on your eyes when it happens to relax the muscle and it will stop.
