Do 50% and 80% depths, in corneal ring implants for keratoconus, matter?!

Question: Do 50% and 80% depths, in corneal ring implants for keratoconus, matter?
If somebody has extreme photo-sensitivity due to keratoconus, and a manual implant of the ring of 50% depth, will it improve if the surgery is redone but with laser implants to 80%, and cross link in the same surgery? Thanks.

That's a bit complicated, Certainly the depth of the corneal rings might have some effect, but keep in mind the more often you have eye surgery, the bigger your risk of developing complications. These are questions you need to take up with your ophthalmologist.
