Sometimes this is due to an injury to the eye which damages the muscles that control the aperture of the pupil. David Bowie has one pupil much larger than the other due to this. It usually doesn't impact sight much, other than the fact one eye may be more light sensitive. However, if this suddenly happened, it is worth getting checked out by the Dr. Now a slight variation in the size is normal. But if you mean one pupil is noticeably larger than the other, and it is a new occurrence, you might have a brain condition that should be checked out. If it has always been like that you probably banged your eye as a child.
