Its not going to damage your eyes however there are two possible problems. The first is that teh perscription you have chosen is not right for your eyes working on the computer or that both of your eyes are nto the same. Cheap readign glasses dont' have the quality of lenses in them either. Now headaches if you work for hours on teh computer might not be glasses. Follow some fo the multiple instructions on yahoo for avoiding headaches and eyestrain when working on computer screens and in particular drink enough water , not tea and coffee. Getting your eyesight checked out by an optician would also be a good idea.
You should get your Rx from your eye doctor and then buy the lenses online though - save BIG $$. I bought single vision online for $25 at www.replacementlensexpress.com and my eye dr was going to charge me hundreds. This is a good company if you already have frames that you like, and you just need a new Rx. Much higher quality than Walmart, and not too much more money.
