What part of the brain interprets vision?!


Question: What part of the brain interprets vision?
I'm doing a report on electronic eyes, and I need to know what part of the brain interprets visual signals.

It is done throughout the brain. The visual cortex organizes the information from the eyes and sends it to many other parts of the brain. Some parts use the information to move the eyes, some parts use it to help navigate through space, some parts use it to direct hand motion. The frontal cortex uses the infomation along with memory to recognizes objects and to identify persons and places,



The visual cortex at the back of the brain. This is why a bad blow to the back of the skull can blind a person.



The visual cortex and the optic nerve.
