Question about my grandmothers' iris?!
Question: Question about my grandmothers' iris?
So my grandma has been blind for three years (right eye). The iris looks grey but she uses eye drops everyday. Is there a tendency that her eye will someday be removed? I'm afraid. But she doesn't have too if there is no pain, right?
Answers:
It depends on what is actually wrong that caused her to become blind in that eye. Eyes are not usually removed unless the globe itself is causing a problem. Many people live their lives without vision in one eye but have the eyeball still present.
