How long does Lasik last?!
Question: How long does Lasik last?
Answers:
Typically, you shouldn't have the procedure done until your vision is definitely stable (typically your early to mid twenties). If they do it too soon, and your eyes get worse, you will need glasses again! No matter how good of a job they do, by the time you are in your early 40's you will be needing reading glasses (even if your distance vision is still OK). So, under ideal conditions, it might buy you about 20 years without glasses. Of course, there is a significant percentage of people who have problems, dry eyes, problems with night vision, etc. Sometimes the miopia comes back, it really sucks after spending all that money, to not wear glasses, to have to wear glasses again! You can get the procedure re-done, but who wants to go through there are all the risks and inconveniences involved a second time.
You can efficiently and now and then hear, and not turn out to be excessively flabbergasted about the entire business by the results
