Are contacts bad for your eyes?!
Question: Are contacts bad for your eyes?
Answers:
Contacts can be just fine for your eyes if they are worn properly and responsibly. There are several brands that I have no preference on but what is most important is that you have your eyes measured properly before you start getting them. Everybody's eyes are different and have different curvature and diameters. Have an eye Dr do some K readings to access the shape of your eye for the best fit of contact and go from there with the contact options. They can get stuck if they are the wrong size so it's important to measure first. They can go under your upper lid and get "lost" but there is nowhere for them to go after that, you just have to roll it out if it does. It's not a problem. Always use fresh solution everyday, give them a gentle rub to get proteins off them in the morning and before bed, never use tap water. Never put them inyour mouth to "clean them" this can cause horrible eye infections. If you do get an eye infection discontinue wearing them (they will get contaminated) until you have seen a Dr and it has cleared. NEVER sleep with them in, it is very bad for your eyes!! Good Luck.
