Never use more of anything then what is prescribed by your doctor!.

Excessive eye drop use can do MAJOR damage to your tear film!.

Go back to using your prescribed dose and go purchase a product called Natures Tears EyeMist!. It is all natural, 100% safe, and you cannot "OD" off of it!. It will actually absorb into your tear film to help your glaucoma and that stinging!. It's a mist so it is very convenient, and you can take it with you and use it as frequently as you like throughout the day!. But please keep using your recommend eye drops along with the mist, it is just an extra remedy!. I also have glaucoma and I swear by this stuff! I purchase it off of Amazon!.com, but you can also buy it at CVS pharmacies!.

Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

first i must correct you!. its cataracTs not cataraKs!.
secondly you shouldn't be using the eye drops more than directed or your pressure could go too low and your eye could literally deflate and you would loose it!.
so if you feel that you need it 3 times a day then you should talk to your eye doctor to see if its ok!.
and you say it stings if you don't use it 3 times a day!.!.!. perhaps your eyes are just dry and you need an eye drop for dry eyes!. you should not be taking the glaucoma eye drops to fix the dryness!.

i don't know too much about eastern medicine but i do know that marijuana can help control eye pressure and in some areas you can get a medicinal marijuana so it is a legal treatment!.

otherwise i find that advil (ibuprofen) works quite well to help with the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've had glaucoma for 11 years (i'm now 22yrs old) i currently take cosopt 2 times per day in my right eye and my pressure as of thursday was 15 in that eye!.
and the eye drops didn't work well in my left eye so i had a timy tube put in my eye to drain the fluid correctly!. and as of thursday my pressure is 17 in the left eye!. those numbers are good for someone that has glaucoma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should not use your drops more than twice a day since that is what the Doctor prescribed!.

Your eyes are probably dry so you may need to use some lubricating drops in between your Glaucoma drops!.(ask your doctor) You can also try to use cool compresses, take a wash cloth and run it under cold water and lay it over your eyes for a couple of minutes, you can do this several times a day!. Also avoid air blowing at you like from a fan or car vents, as this will make your eyes more dry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
