I've read about it and i wear clear contact lenses!. My optician advised me not to wear for more than 8 hours, but sometimes, because of after school activities, i wear it for about 13 to 14 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll get corneal ulcers and resulting corneal abrasion from infections or foreign matter!. This is why removal and disinfection of lenses (or replacement with new lenses) is recommended!.
Eye infections are serious!. While you'll not likely go blind from one, you can permanently lose some degree of visual acuity, and then have trouble reading and possibly not be able to pass the eye exam for driving a motor vehicle!.
Follow the advice of your optician (or better yet, an opthamologist) on care and use of contacts!. If you feel any discomfort, remove and clean them, and keep them out until your eyes feel normal!. If itchiness or substantial redness does not go away quickly, see your eye doctor!.
Going 14 hours without removing them is sometimes unavoidable, of course!. Just make sure you do not ignore even the slightest signs of trouble!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't sleep in lenses, remove them as soon as possible each day, lubricate your eyes frequently, at the first sign of pain or redness, remove the lenses and see an Ophthalmologist!. Remember, you only have 1 pair of eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is best not to wear them for too long, but try to leave them out as much as you can when you have the opportunity, and allow your eyes to rest!. Some soothing drops suitable for lens wearers might help too (like 'Blink' ones)Www@Answer-Health@Com
