Sometimes I see moving colored lines that flash through my sight?!

Question: Sometimes I see moving colored lines that flash through my sight!?
The only thing I can compare it to is like seeing rainbow metallic confetti floating around in front of you!. But they are as thin as lines and fade in and out through your sight!. It doesn't last very long, only for about 10-20 seconds and then it goes away!.

As far as I can tell nothing specific ensures that this happens!. This has happened while I'm sitting, standing, walking, driving, on the computer, etc!. I also do not get headaches from this or before this!. When I have asked people about it they say it means that I'm about to faint or I'm dehydrated but I haven't found either of these to be the case!.

Anyone have any idea to what this is!? I've already looked up information about "floaters" and that is not what I'm experiencing!. What I am seeing are not spots either!. However, I have on occasion had instances where my vision in like the corner of my eye gets a little blurry and I have to rub alot to make it go away!. Also: I do not nor have ever worn glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, I want to say go to your doctor and make sure this is not something that can cause blindness!.

Don't fool around with your vision,
I have had something similar to what you are describing,

I have lights that are like little lightening bolts, sometimes different colors, sometimes white!.

I see them whether my eyes are open or closed!.
My doctor calls them "silent migraines!."

Like you, I do not have pain, but I do feel queasy or uneasy!.

It may be an allergic reaction to something you have eaten, so when it happens, write down everything you ate that day and keep the record so that you can see if the same thing was eaten each time you get the light display!.

One more very important thing: STOP rubbing your eyes!. This is very damaging to your eyes!.

It can increase pressure in your eyeballs, which leads to glaucoma which can lead to blindness!.

Instead wring out a washcloth in warm water and lay it on your closed eyes and relax a little bit!.

So just to repeat!. I emphasize See your doctor and make him/her aware of what is happening to your eyes!. I wish you well!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should go to the eye doctor even if they don't find anything it's better to be safe than sorry!. Once u start to lose sight due to vascular problems it can't be regained!.
