Question: Eyes are red and irritated from soft lens contacts!?
I just got my contacts yesterday where I put them on and took them off at the optometrist's office!. When I got home I put them back on for a couple hours and then for some reason I had a really hard time taking them off (like 1 hr for each eye)!. When I finally did get them off my eyes were all red and irritated and it hurt very slightly whenever I blinked!. Also, the inside of my lower eyelids stung a lot whenever I touched them while trying to get my contacts off!. When I woke up this morning, there were a lot of eye flakes around my eyes and they are still red and irritated although not as much as last night!. I can see clearly with my glasses on and I probably won't wear my contacts today until my eyes feel better!. Are my eyes infected!? What should I do!? The optometrist's office is closed today and I can't go see her until tomorrow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Omg! that exact same thing happened to me when I first got my contacts!. I would recomend not wearing them today and taking a break!. Your eyes are probably sore and tired of being touched!. As of getting used to them!. It took me about a week or two to get used to taking them in and out!. I had lots of trouble with them!. And for the stinging, I would make sure yuor hands are super clean when you put them in and take them out!. And in the future Clear Care works amazingly! I use it all the time and my contacts are never dry or irritate me! Best of luck with them! I promise you will get better with them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
This probably happens because its ur first time wearing them!. Try not to wear them today!. ur eye was probably not used to the contacts so let them relax and go see your doctor tomm!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
