Non-prescription eyeglasses?!
Question: Non-prescription eyeglasses!?
I need glasses that have no RX in them!. just like the ones they have on display on lenscrafters or other offices!. i want them just to wear them for the fun of it!. i tried looking in ebay, but im not sure if they have a prescription or not, all they mention is three numbers and i dont know what that is!. can someone help me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any frames on E-bay certainly wouldn't have someones prescription in them!.
But, the lenses that are in the frames can't be worn like they are!.!.!.those will just be what is called demo lenses, and usually will have writing or a logo on them!.
They are meant to be thrown away because they are dangerous to wear, they are a thin formica lens that is very breakable, in very sharp pieces!. They aren't optical quality lenses at all and will usually cause lots of distortion!.
You will have to take your frame to an optical store and get real lenses put into them, with no power in them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are open to other frames than the ones on ebay, accessory stores also sell frames with plano lenses in them!. I've seen them at places like Claire's!. They are probably cheaper than getting them through an optical shop (in price and quality), so it's up to you!. Just another idea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The (3) numbers are the frame size, Example: 52-17-140 means 52mm lens width, 17mm nose bridge width and 140mm temple (earpiece) lengthWww@Answer-Health@Com
the three numbers are the frame size- just make sure that they dont have prescription lenses, and you're good to go :)
