What is the longest time i can use a pair of contacts?!
Question: What is the longest time i can use a pair of contacts!?
I want to get contacts for the first time and i want to know how long i can use a setof contacts before i have to get new ones!? Are there a company or brand of contacts that last longer then other brands!? Are there contacts that i can use for a year!? If so, tell me what they are called and where to get them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on what type you are getting!. i have the disposable ones, and that's probably a good type to start out with!. the acuvue they last up to two weeks, but i usually take them out whenever they start to feel yucky!. before you can go home with the contacts, you have to be able to take them in and out!. it took me some time to master, but now i can slip them in in under 30 seconds!.

It depends on the type of contacts you get!.
I usually get a box (Acuvue Oasis) that contains 6 lenses (my eye prescription is the same in both eyes so 6 lenses equals 3 pairs of contacts for me)!. I usually wear each pair for (taking them out every night) 2-4 weeks depending on how much I wear them each day!. So one box can last me up to 3 months!.
My g/f has a type that you wear once and through them away!. Each box contains 30 lenses!. So two boxes is enough for 1 month!.
You can get some that you wear for up to 30 days without ever taking them out!. I tried them and they were terrible my eyes could feel then lenses all the time and they were so thick!. I went back to my regular kind!. Talk to your eye doctor and let them recommend the best ones for you!. And if you don't like them, tell the doctor what you didn't like and try another type!. I use dailys, use once,then throw away, dont need to clean etc,
Monthlys u re use, and end up dropping them etc!.loosing them just a lot easier and cleaner with dailys!.
You will need to go to your opticians and have a contact lense test done before you can use any!.
But they are great, would reccomend!.

you will have to take them out reguarly, usually every night, so i would get monthly disposable ones, after that long they go funny anyway!. i wouldnt want to use the same pair for that long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
