one of my eyes has a bacterial infection, my dr said from wearing my contacts too much!. is this contagious!?

i had the same problem with my eyes but my doctor says it was from the solution i was allegic to it and i didnt have the right brand of contacts!. it is not contagious!. but i did stay out of school for a few days!.
it depends what type of make up eyeliner- no dont wear it

if youre wearing day & night lenses (or even regular lenses for that matter), then change to dailies or weeklys!.
also wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water before handling them!.

Bacterial infections of the eye are indeed contagious!. I caught impetaigo (sp!?) from someone who used my eyedrops!.
Eye make up will probably not inflame the infection, but use it spariingly!. Never share eyeliner and mascara applicators with anyone!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it's contagious and you really should wait until it clears up before you start using eye makeup again!. Please make sure you throw away your old makeup and get new one to avoid reinfection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no its not contagious!. but i would try to stay away from make up it could irrate it or infect it more!.!. get a hot rag and place it over your eye throughout the day, it helps heal fasterWww@Answer-Health@Com
If it is pink eye, most definitely yes! You should make sure you clean your contacts thoroughly!. I don't think you should wear make-up, it may be bad for your eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
