An opthalmologist is a is a physician/surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical care of the eyes and visual system!. Opthalmologist is an MD!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

An ophthalmologist is an MD!. and in most cases surgeon too They deal with serious eye disease and trauma where as a OD or optometrist does mainly refractions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
