If I wear glasses with a lower perscription, will that hurt my eyes?!

Question: I found these sunglasses with a perscription that's lower then mine. Will wearing them hurt my eyes?

I had lower perscription glasses for about 2 years, then I finally got a stronger one. I couldn't see as clearly with the lower perscription. Turns out my vision decreased significantly. You will be straining your eyes, so that would be in fact hurting them.

give u a headache

What is the difference of the two RX's? I can explain better if i knew a little more.

You "found" these sunglasses? How do you know what the prescription is compared to yours? If they were yours to begin with and they are a prescription back from what you wear now then it shouldn't make to much difference. You just may not see as sharply.

Well, it woudn't be good, but it's a good way to save some money and time.

Make sure that you don't have to constantly strain your eyes to see clearly in the glasses, because that could ultimately make your vision worse then what it was to start with,

After a while, when you have the time and money do buy a pair that's the right prescription for you.

The reason that we get new glasses is because it's better for our eyes, in the long run you could be damaging your eyes, so I don't reccomand it. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Hope I helped.
