Should I Get my Eyes Checked in Michigan or New York... ???!

Question: im a senior in high school right now... i cant even see the board in my classroom

im gonna get contacts but... should i do it here in michigan or when i go to college in New York this summer...?

i can get my work done without taking notes in high school but not in college

here are my thoughts... im not sure but it might cost more to see the doctor in NYC...

but if i get my eyes checked there i can see the same doctor over and over again... kinda like a family doctor...

what do you think...? if i do it in NYC and it only costs like only 20 dollars more i wouldnt mind...

is it recomended that i always see the same doctor?

You want to have your eyes examined by an ophthalmologist in your hometown. They will always have your records and can forward any eye care information to wherever you happen to be later on. You are only going to be in NY for a short time and who knows where you might be in another ten years. You could be living in California or Texas by then.
