Contact Question? IT KILLS!?!

Question: I have had my contacts in since about 11:30AM.
its 6:35PM now and my left eye is killing me

it feels like somethings in it. and when i touch it, it feels really sore.

I took it out and put it back in, and i also discovered an eyelash in the corner (towards head not nose) i picked it out. put the lense back in, and it still HURTS!

what should i do?

maybe you have something caught in your eye or maybe you didn't clean your contacts well enough and have pink eye. If it stings really badly then you're probably getting pink eye. Call the docter if your eye starts looking even a little pink. Have someone else look at your eye and see if they see anything caught in it, it will come out after you sleep if it is. Try some sterile eye wash for right now. If there's nothing in your eye its definatly an infection. With contacts you can get infections easily. I would keep your contacts out for a while until your eye feels better or ask your docter. Use glasses if you have any until your docter says it's okay to use them again or your eye stops hurting. This is what I found online look at the last question

Your eye is irritated from the eyelash and the contact.
The best thing is to take the contact out for now and let your eye heal itself.
Tommorow morning you can try putting it back in. If it still hurts the contact may have been scratched. Throw it out and try a new one.

Take out the contact and wait until tomorrow to put them back in.

put your glasses on for a while. Give your eyes a rest.

Remove your contact; place it in some cleaning solution; by all means if you have glasses rely on them for the time being.

Remove the lenses. And get better silcione lenses
