It could be allergies, just dry, you left your contac lense in too long if you wear them, or just pink eye. Or there could be something in it. Your gunna need some drops. Pink eye especially effects your eyelid so it's probably that, but I could be wrong.
It could be dry, or irratated. If its something more serious it could be fatigue. And the worst case scenario would be parasitical infection, but those are rare. I sugest contacting your doctor, try crying, tears are a little bit acidic which can help in most cases.
