When talking about physical damage to the eye from the shape or material of CL's:

Soft contacts would never alter the shape of the eye in any way at almost any age. They are very soft and flexible and mold around the shape of the eye (cornea).

RGP contacts are much firmer, and can temporarily alter the shape of they eye's cornea, but after a few hours, a day or two at most, the eye returns to it's natural shape. This shape altering can actually temporarily improve some vision problems, such as myopia (near sighted). And in fact there is a system of rigid contact lenses that you wear only when you sleep, taking them out upon awakening to have improved lens free vision for most of the next day.

I hope not.

I think it's only harmful if you don't keep them clean. But I also heard that your vision will continue to get worse.

From personal experience, my eyes did get worse. I'm not sure if it happens to everyone. I don't think my eyes are squished though haha

lol nah its about as true as if you pull a funny face and the wind changes you will stay like that - someone is pulling your leg!
