My eye looks like it is bleeding but it is not dripping blood?!

Question: can it be bloodshot? and may it be because I use make-up to bed?

If it is bright red and looks like it's filled with blood (the white is all red) you've broken a blood vessel. It's generally not serious and will clear up in about a week. That can be caused by things like hard coughing, vomiting, etc. If it's just bloodshot, like a lot of red lines, that's an allergy or some other kind of irritation. Wearing make-up to bed might do that, if it got in your eye.

Sounds like you have Pink Eye. You may be allergic to your eye makeup.

u popped a blood vessel in your eye Lol

It may be a subconjunctival hemorrhage; a drop of blood under the thin transparent outside layer of the sclera. This looks really bad but it is not. You will see a big difference in three or four days and it will be almost gone in a week. It is not related to make up.

If you're referring to your blood vessels and capillaries surrounding the cornea, did you do some damage to your eyes? Were you hit in the eye? Eye Makeup should not cause the vessels surronding the cornea to rupture...and that 's what it sounds like to me!! If it continues, I would seek the assistance of an ER doctor asap
!!
Good Luck...

i think that it is worth getting it checked out. there are no replacements for eyes. how is your vision? can you still see the same with both eyes, is there any blind spot? if you were worried enough to ask us here then you are worried enough to see a dr, aren't you?

It might be a sub conjunctival haemorage.

Would be best to go get it checked at an eye hospital
