Question: I have an uncle and a cousin who each have only one eye. Lost to cancer. (they are not father & son but my cousin & our uncle)
You usually know if they are winking or blinking. But they blink a lot just as we all do to help keep debris from the eye and it's quick and involuntary. Usually when they wink it's slower and controlled deliberately in context with the conversation. They have an amusing little act they do for the grandchildren about "Winkin, Blinkin & Nod".
