One long sighted, one short sited... and then one of them weak.?!
Question:
One long sighted, one short sited... and then one of them weak.?
i cant stand any sort of sunlight when im outside or glare on a cloudy day, to overcome this if i dont have sunglasses i have always closed my extremely weak right eye, i have minimum control over this eye and cant see far with it, however my left eye sees distance, i can control it well but cant see up close... is this weird???
Answers:
Sounds like me! I'm very sensitive to bright light, so I use sunglasses religiously. The eye doctor has confirmed that I should, and in fact that we all should, to help put off cataracts. So use them.
I am also much more nearsighted in one eye than the other. They just correct differently when they prescribe your correction, whether glasses, contacts or whatever. Back when I wore contacts, I tried bifocal contacts at age 40,and it did not work well for me, so I ended up with one reading eye and one distance eye. The brain adapted perfectly! So... when I later had lasik, I had the procedure done the same, and voila, also perfect. Now, a few years later, I have added glasses for driving, just to boost the image for safety, but I must say this basic scheme works very well.
Not weird.
