Question:
When I cross my eyes everything goes double and the sides have a black border, is this normal?
so I was crossing my eyes today and everything goes double, but I noticed on the side of my view for each eye there is a black cutoff point which seems weird, I wanted to know if anyone else that has crossed thier eyes see this black border on the sides.
Answers:
Yes. Actually, if it didn't happen you should be worried. When you cross your eyes, you expose a part of the eye that is normally unnoticed by your brain. Because you loose focus from the iris' perspective, you can find your "blind spot". It's actually called the optic disk. There's no photosensitive cells there, so it appears black.
You're completely normal =)
