Dilation/ contacts or glasses?!
Question:
Dilation/ contacts or glasses?
I have two questions:
One, I just got back from my eye doctor appointment, and they had to dilate my eyes to do a check up. How long will the dilation last? It's freaking annoying to have poor vision and bright light every where all because my pupils are huge.
Two, I just found out that I should switch from month-lasting contacts to week-lasting contacts because the i'm allergic to the mucus build up in my eyes. Do you think it's worth staying with contacts or I should switch back to glasses?
Thanks to all in advance.
Answers:
Yeah, dilation usually only lasts about 3 - 4 hours, but I've definitely heard of it lasting up to about 18 hours.
As for the contacts, why should you stop wearing them just because you have to switch to two-week disposables? The majority of contact lens wearers wear two-week lenses. Generally, they're more comfortable and cheaper in the long run, because if you rip one or two, you don't have to spend a fortune to get it replaced. If you liked wearing month-long lenses, then there's no reason why you won't love two-week lenses.
