What is high index lense?!

What is high index lense?

how thick will the glasses(with high index lense) be if the degree is 600 plus++


Answers:

i am assuming mark was saying his Rx is +6.00. that would make sense with high index being recommended.

high index is more DENSE material. more expensive, but able to be surfaced thinner. a +6.00 Rx does probably need high index IMO
