Does having bad eye sight mean that you're going to go blind without lasik surge!

Does having bad eye sight mean that you're going to go blind without lasik surgery?

I have pretty bad eye sight right now; -6 in my right eye, and -6.5 in my left eye. I'm terribly worried that I'm going to go blind :(

while -6.00 and 6.50 is bad, your not blind! Ive seen all the way to -12.00 and -13.00! It just means that the way your eye is shaped it needs adjusment to help light hit your optic nerve properly....contact your eye Dr. if you feel like your eye sight is getting worse over a short period of time, but otherwise i would not worry.
