When I wear contact lenses........?
When i wear contact lenses i can feel them in my eyes and its really annoying....they also make my eyes get dry and a bit irritated....how can i fix this?

If you can feel soft contacts in your eyes it is due to one of three problems. 1) a poorly fit contact lens 2) the edge of the contact 3) dryness.
As to a poorly fit contact lens, you need to go in and let your eye doctor make sure the lens is appropriate for you. As to the edge of the contact lens, different contact lenses have different edge designs. It is possible that a different brand of contact with a different edge design would make the contacts more comfortable. Again, though, you need to see you doctor for this.
Based upon your comments, though, my bet is on dryness. Some patients simply don't have enough tears available to both hydrate the contact and also lubricate the eye. In these cases, the contact lens will absorb all the fluid it needs and leave your eye dry -- which causes the discomfort. Several contact lenses have recently been developed to help with patients that have trouble with dry eye. One of my favorites is the Acuvue Oasys. Many of my dry eye patients have had quite good results. Again, though, you need to see your doctor for this. Hope this helped.
