Eye problems....?!

Question:

Eye problems....?

Sometimes everything will go gray where I can't see anything for a few seconds or sometimes longer. This usually happens maybe 2 or 3 times a day. But now it is starting to happen more. Today it happened 4 times already and its only 2:00pm. Also I get a lot of "build up stuff" (I don't know what it is called) in the corner of my eyes. Like when I wake up its there and a few times through out the day.

What is causing this to happen? (when I can't see)

Answers:

could be many possibilities.

1st of all, the "build up stuff" is not related to the "gray" vision problem. those are totally separate.

the "gray" vision problem sounds like possible postural hypotension to me. either that or a form of migraine. since its happening in both eyes at the same time, and it goes away, its highly unlikely IMO that we're talking about some serious eye problem like retinal detachment. much more likely IMO to be sudden drop in blood pressure or blood sugar levels or heart rate, or migraine etc. this probably warrants a physical and not an eye exam...

the "build up stuff" is probably mucus or allergy related, especially if you are not a contact lens wearer and dont have other symptoms like redness, itching, etc.
