If you sleep in your contacts can your contact be stuck to your eye?!


Question:

If you sleep in your contacts can your contact be stuck to your eye?

I fell asleep in them 2 nites but I tried to take them out lastnite and My right came out easily but for my left It felt like I was Grabbing my contact but It hurt. So was I pulling a part of my eye of my contact?

My friend's wife had her contacts in for about a month straight without ever taking them out. The proteins built up around it so much that she could no longer see and had to be rushed to the ER. They got the contacts out and she's fine now, but the threat of losing her vision was very real. If they're left in a night here and there, don't worry too much about it, but do take out your contacts regularly and clean them.
