Do contacts hurt your eyes when you put them on?!

Do contacts hurt your eyes when you put them on?

i might get contacts soon and i'm really scared that when you put them in my eyes will hurt really really bad and that the contacts might slide to the other side of my eye when i blink. does this really happen? im sorry if im sounding like a dork but i really don't know anything about them. thanks ;)

I have contacts on right now i've had them 4 three years now and they hav never went 2 the side when i blinked:) When u put them on sumtimes they can be inside out but ur dr. will tell u how 2 see if they r inside out, or not.
