If someone put a cigarette in or near my eye, would I know it?

Would you know? I believe this might have happened to me, but I was drunk. When I got home, my eye was bloodshot red and burning, but the redness cleared up the next morning, but every morning now my eye is red when I wake up, and has been burning for almost a week as well as the skin around the eye, although there is no evidence of a burn or anything. I went to the eye doctor and she said she saw nothing wrong with my eye, but since this happened, I have lost my sense of central vision, plus the fact that I am in China right now is not helping.... the doctors don't seem as good as they are in the states.

plus the eye doc gave me antibacerial and anti inflamation drops, which ive been taking 4 times a day and still not helping

Who know but I would get it seen to by my own doctor as soon as possible. As for being drunk and not feeling it. I got drunk 40 years ago and had a red hot poker stuck into my leg(twice) I never felt a thing until I woke up in the morning and my brother told me what happened. I still have the marks or should I say.....holes....in my right leg.
