How to heal a sunburn (quickly)?!

Question:

How to heal a sunburn (quickly)?

Today I was swimming at my friend's house, and I didn't put on any sunscreen. I usually don't get any sunburn, but I was out in the sun for a good 3-4 hours.

I have a fair burn on my cheeks, shoulders (which sting) and legs. How could I heal this sunburn quickly and effectively, because it hurts (only mildy though) and it looks awful. And my graduation is coming up in 5 days or so.

Thanks! =)

Answers:

Aloe helps. They sell the burn aloe stuff with the sunscreen you didn't buy.
A home remedy that helps is make a strong batch of tea. allow it to cool or add ice to make it cool use the strong tea on your skin. you can wrap the tea bag in an old wash cloth (warning this WILL stain the washcloth) and dip it in the strong tea. I don't know why this works but it does.
Nothing makes a sunburn go away, but time! Keeping it moisturized helps with the burn pain and the peeling isn't as bad if you keep it moisturized.
