How do you give a self-massage?
After reading a book with my stomach to the bed or playing a sport, I get awful pains in my shoulder and legs. Is there a way to prevent the pains? or, perhaps a way of giving myself a self-massage? Can you name some techniques?
Answers:
Good question, I'll be watching for good answers. I get a lot of stiff knotty muscles, especially in the neck and shoulders. I've bought about every massage contraption I could find from the silly little rollers to Shiatsu kneading nodules nothing is ever as good as a good strong pair of hands. I've had professional massages for personal and medical reasons. They are just too much of a luxury for me to afford so here I sit applying pressure to the knotted muscle for a few minutes of relief.
