Right arm getting numb?!
Question: Right arm getting numb?
Answers:
I agree that you should have it checked out.
You may also want to consider seeing a chiropractor though. Often numbness in the arm comes from the spine being out of whack, something that a good chiropractor can fix.
Also, there are a couple of additional things you could do yourself:
Check how you sleep and make sure your neck is aligned and supported.
And if you carry heavy book bags, consider using a backpack that distributes the weight evenly.
And finally, here's something to experiment with: since you sit working on your computer for a long time, see if you can get a chair with an armrest that will support your arm while you're typing.
Those last three things you should do in any case, even if the chiropractor or the doc can fix your arm, since they will help minimize stress on your spine and your body.
Hope this helps!
