It is about my friend... what is wrong with you? If it was about me, Id say it was about me... no one has to use the 'friend' bit for a question like this. Its a serious question and I expect a serious answer, thankyou.

they are still bleeding quite a bit.. not as much as before, but still a fair amount.
Answers:
If the cut is bad enough to think he or she needs stitches, I would advise going to the doctor to see if it is infected or might in fact need stitches. If they do need stitches (even if it is the day after) the doctor should take care of that.
If your friend is not wanting to go to the doctor, try the "butterfly" bandages. You can get these at any pharmacy / drugstore and a lot of doctors are using them now instead of stitches. They are less invasive too.
