I can only sleep peacefully in one position?!
Question:
I can only sleep peacefully in one position?
When I go to sleep, I can only sleep in one position and that is laying on my right side. When I try to sleep facing upwards or downwards or on my left side, I feel a slight jolt in my whole body that wakes me up. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Answers:
Likely a musculoskeletal problem. Something is twinging/spasming when you lay in a certain way that sets it off..thus waking you up. For instance, I have a chronic bursitis in one shoulder. When I lay in a certain way on that side, the position irritates the affected muscles, which wakes me up and forces me to change positions to calm down the area.
