What is this hard lump under my skin where I had a bad bruise almost 3 months ago (on the top of my butt)?
The bruise went away, but the lump, which is a few inches wide is still there. Any clue what it is and what to do about it?

You might have the beginnings of what is called a pilonidal cyst. The best thing to do is have a doctor lance it for you before it gets infected and becomes a chronic condition. In any case, if it isn't a pilonidal cyst, the doctor can tell you what it is and suggest the proper treatment for you.
The other option is maybe a hematoma (blood blister) from when you bruised yourself. That also could become a problem, Try heat packs and hot baths to soak it and see if it helps. But I would still suggest seeing a doctor.
