I have crushed my head with the floor...........?!

Question:

I have crushed my head with the floor...........?

To doctors or people who really knows. I ask for your help.
Yesterday at night I was playing soccer in a indoor stadium (the floor is of cement) and accidentaly I fell down and
unfortunately I have struck very strongly my head (the back part) against the floor, it was so strongly that I could not move my arms, because I didn't feel my body I just could see al the roof of the stadium but I could no move my arms or legs after a while, then I began to feel my body and move it and until that momment I felt the pain in my head, the pain was very strong.

unfortunately the hospital service in my couentry is so bad, so they didn't give me any attention yesterday.
So my questions are: Do I have to get worried because of that accident ? Do I have to go to an expensive hospital so they can check my head?. What should I do?, wha should be the consecuences of that crash?

Answers:

This is a real toughie! There are so many things that could result from your fall - concussion, subdural hematoma, fractured vertebra in your neck which could lead to paralysis, etc. In a normal situation I would certainly say go to an emergency room, but in a normal situation, you probably would have been taken to one from the soccer field.

I don't want to tell you to ruin your life with medical bills, so you will have to make the decision. It's also possible you were very lucky and will have no long term effects. You can warn the people around you to get help if you pass out or suddenly can't move, but then chances are the damage will already have been done.

My prayers are with you.
